Image #'s A58-395, 396; Welcome to “Paradise” the biggest little city in Kansas, population 65. I captured the image of this water tower built from native limestone rock while briefly spending time in "Paradise". In addition to its use as fence posts during the 19th century; this attractive striped stone was also used in constructing hundreds of homes, schools, churches, and bridges, giving the towns of post rock country a distinctive look.
