Image # A58-166; I captured this image of the "Clements Stone Arched Bridge".  For over 100 years, the Clements stone bridge has cast it's graceful and beautiful reflection onto the waters of the Cottonwood River in Chase County.  Barely a mile from busy Highway US 50, this historic treasure is not too well known, and that's a shame.  This bridge was built in 1886 and measures a 175 feet long, 10 feet wide; and is 40 feet above water.  Clements is one of many mere Kansas ghost towns. All that remains are remnants of very old empty houses, left from years ago.
