Image # A58-165; Cottonwood Falls has been the Chase county seat since 1859.  The first log cabin courthouse was replaced in 1873 by this stately building of native limestone and walnut, which today is the oldest Kansas courthouse still in use.  A lot of editing has been done with this image, as I removed a pickup which was parked in the foreground along the stone wall; as well as lots of overhead power lines.
